Anyone else kind of love Wade Rousse after the Wade presser?

I know we're supposed to hate anyone with a Louisiana accent and if Jeff Landry likes them but the dude seemed actually excited and happy about LSU. He talked about growing the university through athletics (the same way Bama did under Saban).
Just a breath of fresh air from someone who is used to the DEI and F King Alexander types.

He came across with great energy and enthusiasm for the school and state. most presidents come across kind of dry and boring.

All the inside sauces insist this will be a great move for the university. I was pissed Landry ran off Tate but I’m optimistic about the Dalton/Rousse tandem.

First time I can remember that LSU has been completely aligned from the Governor, President, AD and HC.

He’s the antithesis of F King. He was a holier-than-thou academic type who snubbed his nose at athletics and viewed it as an ancillary chore to deal with. Wade and the current group fully understand athletics is the doorstep to any large university and embrace it to make the entire system better.

He doesn't seem very sharp like you'd hope, but at least it seems like he loves Louisiana.
Sounds like they brought in the Dalton guy to do more of the heavy lifting and Rousse is more the face and the salesman.

Gotta remember that Heath was also a college basketball coach so that section of the admin knows basketball which was something we’ve been missing for awhile.

I think it’s more like Dalton is academics and Rousse is more operational, including being the face of the university.
