Another poster made a good comment the other day, saying we know everything that's going on in the ME, where everyone is, but it took a teenager with a cell phone to expose fraud. He was right. JD and Gabbard are my favorites in the cabinet. We've already seen arrests in Los Angeles within a few weeks of him being put in charge. Do ya'll think he will have the persistence, power, and authority to truly root out taxpayer fraud?

Trump put JD in that position to be the MAGA hero by exposing and arresting all of the fraudsters

Personally, I like the decision. I think it gives him something of substance to do. A chance to prove himself. Plus, it rustles Gavin’s jimmies, which is hilarious.

Fraud is extremely hard to prove. It will also prove hard to get convictions in extremely blue cities and states with the local and statewide politicians fighting the entire way. It will be a little more successful version of DOGE.

No matter what he does, people here and in MAGA more broadly will turn on him if his actions don’t put famous Democratic politicians in prison.

Wouldn't majority of the fraud that has been exposed so far fall under federal charges, and the federal court system. Doesn't stop the activist judges from getting involved, but eliminates the local and state protections

He will find some here and there and people will clutch their pearls and get all histrionic, and then he will support spending more money in the next budget.

Want to reduce fraud? Cut spending.

In another thread Cajunangelle had posted an article from the DOJ head in Southern Cal.

He said one of the problems, the fraud division in his office was at half staff because many quit when Trump was elected and a second wave took the DOGE buyout.

Basically means the half left were probably such shatty lawyers they knew they could not get a new job if they took DOGE, and no doubt will be backstabbing liberals

Id like to see them offer the same Bissent 30% bounty and offer it to outside lawyers to contract with the DOJ and round these fellas up. You would have a lot of the lawyers rolling on their own clients. Its the land of ambulance chasers they would be lined up around the block.

And a few on this board could find work and stop posting.......

I'm thinking this is to isolate the DOJ/FBI people doing and directing the mission from the Media whores.

JD will have Trumps instant ear to know what DJTs priorities are and pass them on to DOJ -

JD will have all the info he needs to confront the "press" - can go on all the "news shows" to do battle with them - let the real people keep their names out of the press and their eyes focused on the targets.

I like it - JD is good on his feet - I got no fear he will parry them well.

We all know the 'media' will be out to bolster the 'protests' that will necessarily be lodged against every effort = Let JD be the shield for that

The fraud is amazingly easy. One case, they simply had a couple sign a few forms, as a doctor they sign off. The people never visit the hospice and each month they would drop off 600 bucks cash to them. They were receiving supplements and even a wheelchair (remember the medical device fraud case for millions, no wonder a wheelchair is 100K). Then multiply that by dozens of clients and different hospices.

In addition the state of california charges a tax of 274 per head if its through medicare.

So the state is stealing, medical device companies are stealing, the hospice is stealing, and individuals are stealing. No doubt city and county are involved.

He's off to a good start!

quote:

“The Administration’s War on Fraud once again yields results as more suspensions take place and fraudsters face justice for ripping off hard-working Americans and stealing their tax dollars and social services,” a spokesperson for Vance said. “The Vice President and his task force are proud of these latest figures and expect to see this number continue to grow dramatically.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, federal authorities raided several healthcare providers in Southern California on Thursday for defrauding Medicare.

FBI Los Angeles posted footage of agents arresting the fraudsters, writing, “Early this morning, the FBI and partners arrested 8 of 15 defendants charged in connection with 9 separate health care fraud investigations focusing on hospice fraud and other schemes. The arrests were made in and around Los Angeles County, as well as in Court d’Alene, Idaho. Some of the defendants are health care professionals, including nurses, a psychologist and a chiropractor. Losses to taxpayers exceed $50 million.”

Won't matter. 'Going after' it is one thing. Congress is too far gone to pass the DOGE or any other anti-fraud cuts, so it's pointless.

He’s not doing their job. They are doing the job. JD is simply the liaison between those agencies and the President.

It’s a resume builder to stay competitive with Rubio (the new front runner) for 2028.

The fraud is so widespread at multiple levels across the entire damn country it's an issue deserving of the VP's time and attention.
