Can someone recommend a pace to get a great shrimp po-boy. Big,crispy shrimp and good bread. Very much appreciated.

Kenney's Seafood, Slidell, LA

May be a local chain, but Off the Hook is very good. FTR, fast-food chain GOAT.

Thanks for the suggestions. A friend recommended Rocco's. I'm there now. Hope it works out. Will try your recommendations in the future.

Stazione in Morgan City is fantastic. Great bread and plenty of shrimp.

Mabile's is solid AF. Laplace is an underrated lunch destination.

I had replied a few threads up that I ended up going to Rocco's. It was close and served its purpose. I will keep a list of all the recs and try to hit them on future trips. Mabel's sounds like a place I will definitely have to get to. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.

Agree re Off the Hook. I’ve been twice and both times were good.

Another vote for this place. Good food, simple and straightforward menu with huge portions. Wish we had something similar in BR.
