Whether it is authentic or not, Christians must remember that Christ is ruling and reigning in heaven at this moment, and to worship Him, not any relics on earth.

Worshipping the shroud is what you took from that?

If a person is dumb enough to worship a cloth, they probably need more than a reminder

I've never heard of anyone worshipping the shroud. It's an amazing piece of Christian history that scientists have failed at discrediting.

Is there anyone worshipping the Shroud? Essentially nobody can even see it in person

How common? I’m pretty sure I’ve never run across anyone who worships a piece of cloth. How many have you?

Are there people that worship the shroud probably, and i would say they're misguided, the shroud is just further proof of the existence of a man who was crucified for preaching a gospel that would save humanity,
And slowly, as it is written God will expose himself in HIS time to mankind and that day is fast approaching, and there is no denying it, we shall all see

He obviously isn't Catholic. Protestants believe that Catholic's worship relics not Jesus. Christian snobs/Karens give Christians a bad wrap. They are more worried about thinking they are holier than thou.

Really? That’s a pretty major misunderstanding.

Relics to us are a slippery slope. Sometimes they get too much attention and become idolatrous in heart. The shroud is fascinating, but we should always ask ourselves: what is more Holy, the place where the Messiah walked or the Messiah himself? As a follower of Jesus, I believe objects are best left alone because they really aren't important. Personally following The Father's will with the help of The Holy Spirit is.

I’ve seen the shroud and also have attended multiple lectures on it. I’ve never seen a single person worship it, or any other relic. What I have seen and done personally is venerate those items.
You would do well to realize the difference.

Then why do Protestants worship a book?

What book do you think Protestants worship?
Trying to be smart while proving uninformed misguided ignorance.

quote:I have seen and heard of many whose faith is reliant upon the authenticity of the cloth rather than trusting that Christ has been raised from the dead because God’s word confirms it. The warning was against putting your faith in the cloth rather than in one whose supposed image is on the cloth.
