Do you ever worry about the apocalypse happening while you’re still alive?

What if we are headed toward WWIII and the end of civilization as we know it?
I mean, I guess I’ll be okay although it would suck to buy a house right before Armageddon. I worry about my kids, who are grown now and trying to start their lives. It sucks to think that they will never see their dreams materialize. I have little grandkids.
Maybe I should have stopped at 2 margaritas.

Thankfully my family and I got in early during the Y2K scare on an investment in an upscale doomsday bunker community luxury condo unit in an undisclosed location. The fee included a guaranteed private extraction from a rendezvous point in a remote location.

Plot twist: Everybody dies anyway. I guess I would feel bad for the youngins not getting to live their full lives but I'm not getting out of here whether I go out in an atomic fireball or hooked up to a vent in a nursing home.
