I think this is the question of the season for the Tigers to this point. So far, it looks like Les has called the plays. I think Crowton takes over from here. What you say?

Crowton is calling most all of the plays. I'm a believer that Miles likes to run a bit more

I think Crowton calls the plays, but Miles has a heavy influence. Miles said in his press conference today "we wanted to be in 2 backs", and that doesn't sound very Crowtonish to me.

But I think officially it's Crowton.

Crowton calls the plays, and Miles occasionally makes recommendations.

Les can't keep his hand out of it.

Whoever is calling the plays is certainly no offensive genius, nor is there any ryhme or reason to the play calling. No continuity

I don't want continuity. I want creativity and we don't really have it. We seem to be running the same plays for the last 2 years and you can pretty much tell what we are running by the players in on the play and where they line up....and I don't study tape.

I would have to say both are calling it. It seems like we have a bipolar offense which tells me more than one person is involved in the overall decisions.

Why would a DB/ST player call plays?

I think this is the answer. Running up the middle every 1st down doesn't seem like Crowton.

Miles doesn't keep a chart on the sidelines with him and is not often talking in his headset when we have the ball. Crowton is calling the plays, but I bet Miles has a big influence on the game plan.

Crowton may also be limited in some ways by what Jefferson can or can't do at this point and with our lack of an offensive line.

Les is not a potted plant so yes I guess at times he has influence. Big Shocker

the problem is Miles wants to run up the middle on every first down, while Crowton probably wants to run a triple reverse flea-flicker...

(exaggeration added for effect)

I think Crowton is a tad more diverse than people realize

The Crowton & Miles play calling duo are having difficulty with the delay of game penalty.
