WTF

quote:

And while none of this does much for Miles' standing in Baton Rouge, word is, he's suddenly a front-runner for the Notre Dame job

What the frick is this guy thinking or where the hell is he getting his information? Why would Notre Dame fire Wies and hire Miles. That would be a step down.

No it wouldn't, but it wouldn't be a step forward I don't think.

I'm pretty sure it was a joke. He's saying terrible coaching decisions make him the top target for ND because their last few coaches have been awful.

It's sarcasm you morons. No one in their right mind would be considering Miles at this point.

I'd consider turning Catholic if they did this.

I am pretty sure the author is joking and chiding Notre Dame for their recent coaching hire failures. This is nothing more than another attack at Miles insinuating that Miles has now proven himself dumb enough for the dumb coach hiring officials at ND to consider him.

we need to support this, Miles to ND, he would be a good fit, Notre Dame, he's a class guy, and will be aggressive. Fear da hat!

This.

He's saying that since ND football is a joke, and has a history of hiring bad coaches, that Miles is suddenly "a front-runner for the head coach job" at ND...

Its tongue in cheek. With all of ND's blunders, Miles tops the list for new coach, get it?

weis has a better football mind than miles does .. but miles can assemble a better staff on paper ... there are really a lot of similarities between weiss and miles in that both won in their first two seasons or more with players left over from their predecessors ... weis just can't recruit obviously and miles can .. so i would say miles would be an upgrade at ND ..

No, I don't get it. I think it should be serious. I advocate running with this and viral market it into a true scenario.
