40 Yard dash time at the NFL Combine, 2005

LINK

Should still have some of that speed. Could be an interesting add at backup corner / sp. teams.

Yeah, he's not all that great but he should be a decent backup.

He started for the Ravens for 2 1/2 years. That has to count for something, right?

He started in 2008, 2009 (got injured in the 10th game), and started for the first 7 games of the 2010 season before he was unseated by Josh Wilson.

I remember when Oaklnad drafted Washington. He carried a 3rd round grade going into the draft and was a surprise 1st round pick. Oakland drafted him for his speed. It turned out to be a mistake.

He was traded to Baltimore in 2008 for a 4th round draft pick.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we signed him and I hope he's good depth and that maybe can contribute on special teams.

Supposedly, he asked to be traded from the Raiders where he started for 3 years.

Found this in the Baltimore Sun:

"In his three seasons with the Ravens, he started 30 games, intercepted once pass and broke up 35 passes.

He immediately became the team's top cornerback in his first season, breaking up a team-best 19 passes that season. But he struggled with his consistency and was benched twice his last two seasons."

Raiders have made a bunch of bad picks but lets be clear
Bo Jackson was not one of them....

Fastest official electronic time at an NFL combine belonged to Chris Johnson at 4.24.
