Wow, SportsCenter edited my joke out about Wade going to Germany before Game 4 - I should have just ripped people to shreds like SAS did.

The rigidity of studio TV is really discouraging. Let's just say that A LOT makes sense after these past 8 months.

Bill Simmons writes some funny pieces, but he seems like that awkward guy that just seems to be there.

That's his whole point, they hired him to bring some irreverence to the show like inside the NBA has but then they continue to edit and censor a lot of what he wants to say, as well as giving them way more talking points than producers at turner give their guys.

Not to mention the hypocrisy of not only allowing but promoting SAS and skip Bayless' blatant trolling and pandering to the lowest common denominator. Also he's stuck with magic and jalen who just throw around the "we played in the nba so we know more than you" card even when they're right/wrong about the same amount as any serious NBA fan

This! Promoting Bayless at all is just a straight joke.

Bill Simmons just needs to accept his role as the token white dude and be done with it.

I like Bill Simmons. He is a huge Boston homer, but you know that going in. Almost everyone would way rather have a guy like that doing games then the shite ESPN has had the past few years. I remember a time when I would watch sportscenter at least a few times a day. I only watch now if a game I want to see is on, or to see them talk about that game a little.

Simmons brings a different perspective to basketball that ESPN does not currently have. Bayless and SAS are a waste of airtime and you can only go so far with former NBA stars talking about how they would handle the situation on the court.

Kobe was hurt and had some procedure done in Germany and played like he was 25 again after it. Seems pretty sketchy, probably some HGH stuff going on.

Ahh. Yeah, any time someone leaves the country for medical treatment, you can pretty much guarantee its shady in some form or fashion.
