Either it or Palm Readers/Fortune Tellers. Close call and every one else is a distant third place and beyond.

It's a profession susceptible to bias and when bias seeps in it can become corruptible.

We are still behind these dolts and palm readers. Just ask my mother. She's never been wrong.

The Manship School of Mass Communication at LSU would disagree with you.

Funny thing about Journalism, it's not a monopoly, anyone can study it and make a difference. So, instead of bitching about it, why don't you actually try it?

I just don't get all these Republicans bitching about the media and education being full of liberals. They wouldn't be full of liberals if conservatives would go into the fields.

Why don't they?

If "politics" is considered a profession, then that is the clear leader.

This is one of the dumber things ever written.

Journalism schools are filled with liberal professors and the profession is filled with liberal bosses. Meaning, of course, that much like the borg you will assimilate or perish.

The problem with reporters and correspondents is most don't have degrees in journalism.

Many of the people on TV have policy science degrees or JD's.

Journalism, Insurance, Legal, and used cars seem to attract the biggest scum bags.

There is a female anchor on Shreveport TV who has 'Ph.D' listed after her name on the graphic. She's dumb as shite. So, I went to their website to look up her bio. Her Ph.D. is in 'guidance counseling.' Hell, I didn't know they offered a doctorate in that crap.

In 2017 this is becoming true. Becoming!

Back at the start of the Republic every large village had 2 printers, one for each party.
Patriot-Tory, Federalist-Antifederalist, Democrat-Whig, Democrat-Republican. Now not so much. Only large cities can have 2 and there is no guarantee of opposing views.

When radio stations started the network system was born but many independents diversified the system. Then in 1949 democrats passed the Fairness Doctrine which silenced any speech the government considered unfair! In 1987 four FCC officials appointed by Reagan killed it. Talk radio was born and quickly became vilified by the DNC and MSM.

Now for TV the 600 pound gorilla in the room. Also covered under Fairness Doctrine almost from birth. For decades there were the big three and the little fourth. ABC, CBS, and NBC were joined by PBS. These were all staffed almost exclusively by liberals but the fairness doctrine prevented them from going too extreme. They competed for ratings but not in conservative-liberal thought.

Then comes cable. CNN was started in 1980 by multimillionaire and uberlib Ted Turner. In 1996 Fox started by an uber rich Rupert Murdock as a different news network, more conservative. All others were started by uber rich or the broadcasting big 3. Non are conservative.

When to create your own journalistic enterprise in print or TV, you'd better have a vast fortune! If not try getting a job with Fox or do radio.

But today a hard working, talented, and moderately lucky regular guy can break into the internet. The internet is becoming as hated as talk radio and Fox News! I wonder why the libtards advocate internet regulations!? Also the current POTUS is showing how the powerful can go around the MSM by tweeting. That's also vilified.
