At what age are you getting your kid a cell phone?

I got one when I started high school. I'm still relatively young and have no kids but I'm merely interested how in about 10 years how much that has changed. What says the O-T.

I bought the iPhone X for my 4 year old. She loves taking selfies for FB and Snapchat.

I got my boy one at 7 and already started teaching him about dick picks and how to score arse with his hot teachers.

My kids are 11 and ask for one all of the time. I'm thinking when they are old enough to be somewhere with no adults i'll get them one

When it becomes a convenience to me and their mother for them to have one. An example would be after school activities when they needed a ride home.

10 because that's what age they are all getting them now, and you don't want your kid being the weirdo.

We got our son a cell phone when he was in 7th grade. We did this because that's when he started playing school sports where he'd need one of us to come pick him up after practices.
Our daughter is 9 and we've given her one of our old iPhones. It's not connected to anything other than our WiFi though.
And with both they are made fully aware that the phone we give them is not theirs. It still belongs to us and we can and will monitor their devices.

So far the worst thing we've found is that apparantly it's now a thing among teen boys to text each other pictures of their feces in an effort to see who can gross the other out. And i think they get bonus points if they make their friends look at their deuce while eating.

Did you even mention this to him, or did you just laugh about it to yourself?

I got a free one from AT&T so I got it hooked up for my daughter to be used 3 days a year. It sits turned off in my nightstand except for school fair, city park night, and trunk or treat. Having her run off with her friends, even though there are plenty of adults there, just makes me nervous. My wife and I are chasing after our younger ones at these events so its good piece of mind to be able to check in.

He explained it to us when we opened his phone and saw texts between him about a dozen or so of his fiends showing toilet bowls with various amounts of stool in differing states of solidity and consistency.

Earlier than when I got one. Times change, and I'm not gonna pretend like this generation should do things the same way mine did.

3 and a half.
Can I use fractions, or do I need to stick with decimals?
