3 guys that will win your league at current ADP

Joe Mixon (32 adp RB15) watch him take a pass in the right flat, effortlessly shake defenders & walk into the end zone. He’s shed weight & is moving well. Trust your eyes & don’t be afraid to grab him over Gordon, Freeman, McCoy & especially McKinnon.
Amari Cooper (45 adp WR18) still very young & working to get over dropsies. But with Crabtree going he’ll see the easy completions & redzone looks Crab garnered from Carr. Can also win deep. Marty Bryant is by all reports not impressing, & Cooper remains the one guy Carr has a rapport with. I am taking him before guys like fitz, Arob, Tyreek, & DT88, all whom are playing new QBs
Evan Engram (adp 61 TE6) I don’t think his TE6 status is that insulting, but I’m inclined to think he works his way into top 3 TE status this year. Certainly taking him before Delanie Walker, who is going right ahead of him, as well as Olsen & Ertz. I’m treating him as a WR who can play TE, late 3rd-early 4th Rd value. I see many people fishing for a QB around here cause the “top end” talent drops off. Look hard at Ingram!!!

who disappoints for the Giants, then? Don’t really see how a team with OBJ, Shepherd, and Saquon can support a top 3 TE unless Engram scores like 12 TDs

I’m not sure how Barkley negatively affects Engram, but E2 will get equal looks to Shepard, if not more. They have no legit WR3 option there. I don’t see why both can’t havd 90-110 targets a piece.

If the offense is good that is a perfectly reasonable number of players to all have big years. 4 players including a RB and TE isn’t exactly a vastly diverse offense.

Well the Giants ran the ball at the 4th lowest rate in the NFL this year, I’d expect that to change given Barkley’s arrival and the fact they likely won’t be atrocious in 2018. So the overall pie will probably shrink.
Last year Evan Engram got 18.87% as the top option in the passing game, 115 targets total. Once you add in OBJ’s arrival (160 yearly targets) the potential for less passes total, I’d project him around 90 to 95 targets, let’s say 60 catches. He’s going to need to be extremely efficient or lucky to hit top 3 numbers at the position on 60 catches. JMO

Give me Njoku over EE at their draft prices.
Earl, you play in any board leagues? We got a spot in The Auction League. Come take my money, you know you want to, don’t be a fence rider

Efficiency was the name of the game for Pat Shumur and Bradford last year. Lots of quick intermediate throws. If that carries over, volume should tick down but you would think efficiency will tick up. Eli was just bad last year and Engram himself had a bunch of drops
Kyle Rudolph had a similar setup in MIN with 2 good WR and a good run game. You put Engram around the 70% catch rate Rudolph had, at let's call it 100 targets, and you're looking at boost in production with less volume. Coupled with Engram's play making ability and being the only pass catcher with some size, you may be cooking with oil

Looking like the 19th or 27th (I prefer the 19th so I’m sure you’ll want the 27th
)
Seriously though, it’s a good league. Year 4. Check the thread here and you can see the other owners. You’d be a good addition
It’s Auction, not sure if you’ve done one but they are great.

I’ll pass on Engram. Too high for a TE for me and I see a regression.

I'm keeping engram for a late 9th. I can fap to dat.

He went in the 5th rd of a draft I did last night. In the same round as
Jordan reed
Crabtree
Lamar miller
Olsen
Ingram II
Ronald Jones
Larry Fitz
Garcon
Deshaun Watson
Jimmy graham
Brandin Cooks
12 team PPR. If I had Evan Engram I would not really be having buyers remorse at that price. Like damn I really missed Lamar miller or Pierre Garcon. Fitz I could argue. But boring players for the most part and a 5th-6th rd pick on Engram will not lose your season

You don’t think his catch rate improves

First two I can agree with, I like engram and think he’Ol have another good year but I’m not sure I’d call him a league winner
ETA: meaning if those guys pop they’ll be on a high % of championship rosters. I think the price on engram is fair and I don’t see him exceeding expectations so greatly you consider him a league winner

Let’s pretend for a second John Brown can stay healthy...
Let’s figure he can at least = what Wallace did there the last 2 seasons, which was WR 3-4 with the potential to do even more. I’d say that’s solid value when you’re getting him for dirt cheap right now.
