If you really want to irritate him, go out of your way to not mention politics during their stay. He already “knows” that he’s more intelligent than you are and is waiting to unload his talking points to prove it. You will never change his mind on a single topic. Just show him that you all are good people who are happy and enjoy your lives. That will upset him more than anything. Put on a MAGA hat and he will just dismiss you entirely.
