Love your TIGERS, no matter what.....

As bad as it is, think about how important LSU athletics are to the people of Louisiana!
We have been here before and we will recover....
Its OK to be upset, disappointed, and confused, but pulling for the TIGERS is what good fans resort to.

I think even the most negative are still pulling for us to win. In ways the people who get the most upset and are the most negative/critical probably care the most. They’re just maybe not the most rational about it.

Thank you for that post. I had to suffer through the currly years. Suffered through lou teppers crappy defense. Jamie howard throwing a million interceptions against the barn. We will be ok. If you really love LSU, it's ok to be mad but support are players.

This really sums up our fanbase. Us Cajuns are some of the most passionate people on the planet but that emotion swings both ways. We need to do a better job of balancing fair criticism with still showing unconditional support of the players. At the end of the day, we have who we have on the field.

I love my kids, but I definitely let them know when I think they’re going in the wrong direction.

The problem isn’t that we don’t love our Tigers it’s that some of us love them a little too much. I think it’s also just the kind of people we are in South LA, we’re very emotional, and hotheaded

It shouldn’t be as important as it is. When your pride is based on how a bunch of college kids play, then you have issues.
If LSU is embarrassing itself on multiple fronts, i don’t have to keep loving them unconditionally. That is what leads to taking steps backwards.
