TE is once again an unmitigated disaster..

if your name isn't Travis Kelce
Kittle despite not playing in 4 games is still currently a top 6 scoring TE on the season
Waller the #2 has been solid but his output at 118 points makes him about a WR30 or so.
time to give up their mandatory roster spot to another flex.

Andrews was TE1 this week with <14pts

All the more reason to keep it IMO. Risk reward for one of the good top 3/4 guys, then have to play matchups and watch season for progress

Meh they’re basically kickers that are subject to randomness. You can study the match ups all you want but you’re still just hoping to get lucky and have him find pay dirt. Red zone looks for them are unpredictable

I felt good about Engram and Higbee, both have been pretty worthless.

I mean you can pretty much make this argument for RBs while you’re at it

no not really at all, that's actually quite stupid
RB touches are generally much easier to forecast and will get more HVTs and opportunities than a TE. RBs have much, much safer floors even if they don't find the endzone.

I had the 11th pick in a 12 team PPR league and I drafted Kelce. Yes, a TE in the 1st round. I thought I was out of my mind after doing it. But he's currently only behind Kamara, Cook & Tyreke Hill in total points.

have Goedert, Ebron, Fant, and Hooper in season long leagues.
Goedert
Ebron
on one team
Fant
Hooper
on the other.
i hate to roster 2 TE's but ImO you need to.
TE has burned me in DFS as you might imagine. Did OK yesterday with Gronk though.

I'll have to go back and look at my league's draft, but I need to put more attention on WR's and RB's in the first half of the draft. Waller has been good, and I've been lucky with how good Rodgers has been, but in a PPR, I feel like you really need to focus on WR and RB.

If Fant had stayed healthy all year he would’ve been a top 3 TE

I'm going to try and get Taysom Hill onto my bench this week. If he gets more wildcat/QB work with Brees out he could be a bit of a cheat code at TE. All I need is 7-8 points per game to improve on what I'm currently getting.

As long as Sean doesn’t list him at QB we’ll have a sneaky move.

The gap between Travis Kelce and T.J. Hockenson (TE1 and TE3) is basically the same as the gap between Hockenson and Tyler Kroft (TE3 and TE35).

The TE1 with Kelce on bye last week had 13 PPR points. Good times.

It's very strange bc I feel like there are a lot of really good TEs that should be thriving but man the position has been awful from a FF standpoint.
I still think Hayden Hurst will become a thing these last few weeks. He is getting the looks just nothing in the red zone. That changes this week.

quote:it looked very good early on. I snagged some nice TEs behind Kittle and at the time I wanted to trade Kittle, but there were so many good options that people had for cheap that they were happy not paying up.

Yeah I thought it had a shot to bounce back this season but it’s even worse
Hock is the #3 TE but he’s even been kind of a letdown

Don’t worry baw, reinforcements coming soon

A part of me wants to roll two TEs in regulars next year.

Had Waller until trade.
Rolling with Goedert/Hooper ROS. Would be nervous without two if I didn’t have Kelce or Waller at this point.
