Can use the same plastic tee for a couple rounds. What’s the advantage of carrying around a bunch of wooden tees?

I hit them, mostly because people always leave them behind on the tee box

I have absolutely no preference on tees to be honest, I’ll hit any of them.

I play whatever people leave behind. A broken wood tee is very useful for par 3s and non-drivers on other holes. I haven’t bought tees in years.

I do. When my grandfather taught me to play golf he told me to buy non painted wooden tees so that’s what I’ve always done. I use stinger brand tees which rarely break unless I want them to.

I hit everything, but I think my bag has more plastic than wood these days, mostly becuase that's what the carts are stocked with. Between cart stock and finding them, I don't buy tees very often. Maybe once every 5 years.

Made the mistake of buying white painted wooden tees. Driver did not love those.

Will be going back to stingers or plastics.

I mean... it’s a tee. Who cares.

I have some cheap wooden tees right now and they break on almost every see shot. I’ve used plastic in the past and had no issues with them.

Wood tees, because most golfers don’t pick up their tees. The wood ones can be cut up by mowers and break down in the soil. Plastic gets stuck in the reels and really pisses of the operator and the mechanic

Use what I find but will have a wooden tees in my pocket to fix divot marks on the greens. Plastic tees don't work good for me on fixing a divot. I'm the same way as I haven't brought tees in years and probably have a 5 gallon bucket full.

Bamboo wooden tees are what you want

Yeah I hit what’s in the cart. My bag has a bunch of LSU tees but I rather use what’s given.

Hit me up if you can play Wednesday

I have western birch tees that I use. I don’t hit driver a ton so one tee last me a few rounds unless the ground is hard. Otherwise I usually pick up a half tee to hit an iron off of.

Wednesday doesn't look bad right now. Got an afternoon call I can probably blow off. I'm leaving Thursday to play in a scramble in Bama, so I could use a warm up.

I was kind of eyeing tomorrow as well...

I really don’t care what tees I play with but I’m going to use wooden ones from here on out just to piss you off.

Because when you play north Texas goat ranches you need a rubber mallet to hammer your tee into the ground and plastic tees bend
