The LPGA needs to step up its TV/streaming coverage

I’m actually trying to watch the Women’s US Open and it’s not televised nor do they have any online streams to watch groups or anything like that.
I don’t hate watching the LPGA and if I’m watching on a Thursday morning I’d rather watch a US Open then a regular PGA tour event but they don’t even give you an option. Seems like they could at least have a featured group to follow with a few cameras and a live stream, wouldn’t cost that much $$$ for them to do and would increase their exposure a ton

Streaming starts at 10:30 (8:30 Pacific time) and coverage is on Peacock and NBC later. I agree that there should be more coverage though. Pretty disingenuous for the USGA to have a Women Worth Watching campaign then not offer more coverage of the US Open.

Cool thanks. Although not for several hours, I guess I’ll give them a break since it is just starting up now, I didn’t know they had the app!

Pretty much the reason they created the app...You can tell it was almost thrown together with code from 10 years ago that is easy to get things out quickly.

I’m actually kinda excited for the Open this year and I was looking at all the streaming and coverage options and it’s pretty light

in many ways I find LPGA to be more relatable/informative. Watching the way they plot around the course is more similar to the shots I'd have to hit.
Been tuning in here and there over the last year and the more familiar I get with the players the more I enjoy it ...
Lots of talent on tour, but specifically I find the Korda sisters fascinating. The swings are gorgeous too.

It’s not the USGA, it’s the networks. I am certain if networks picked it up USGA would be happy to let them show it. NBC is woke, but won’t show more Women’s golf? Why can’t ESPN pick it up?
Asian women’s golf tour being played in the US doesn’t appeal to sponsors, but the golf and storylines are a good as it’s been in a long time this year.

I feel the opposite honestly, watching the guys bomb the bar or hit it a mile in the air with a ton of spin, at least I can say “oh yeah OK I could never do that”.
But then these girls who are smaller than me, and hit it about the same distance as me come out and shoot lights out, I have no excuse for not being as good as them

Felt the same way. Played in a Pro-Am with Solhiem Cup team captain Pat Hurst. Out drove her all day. End of round she's below par, me???? ... not so much.
They practice and have a ton golf recourses. Say what you will, but they are damn good.
