HOLY. shite. Can’t say I’d do that for any of my dogs. He survived by the skin of his teeth.

That dude tied the dog there. There is no way you instantly understand how it was tied and untie it that fast with an oncoming train.

Best case scenario he was taking a shite in the woods when a train happened to come.

Worst case it was a stunt for likes.

ETA: after watching with sound, fake.

Amazing, but you should always face oncoming traffic while saving dog from a train.

It may or may not be. If it is it’s a good fake. Talk to a train conductor sometime. They’ll tell you some really fricked up stories, and I think that’s the most underrated profession when it comes to trauma. Guy I talked to said his trains have killed over 20 people.

I knew a kid in college who was from Caldwell parish, he had ptsd from getting smoked by one in his early teens. Killed his grandma and sister, just mangled their car.

You can tell an awful lot about a person by the way they treat animals. Good man.

A good friend of mine was in the backseat when he and his friends drunkenly decided to race a train. The two in the front seat were killed instantly but the back wasn’t quite over the tracks and he survived which resulted in him being in the hospital for like a month. He had one hell of a great attorney and sued the train company and won. Granted, I don’t think that was justified, but he got one hell of a settlement apparently for like seven figures.

OK, Yote was shaved, but why was Nymeria tied to the tracks?

That would be the best fake ever. Dude was a split second away from getting creamed by a train. It would also be weird for the train conductor and the guy rescuing the dog to set that up. Of course, video trickery is a thing
