Replacing AP2 with the 300s.
Regular instead of stiff shaft. Comments?

Like going from a knife to an axe.

They are going to be much more bulky looking than your AP2s.
Also, the lofts are a lot stronger!

I was fitted for irons recently and it came down to T300s or Mizuno 921 Hot Metals. I ended up going with the Mizunos, but, the T300s were almost exactly the same for my swing. I played AP1s for a long time and ended up passing them down to my son. The AP1s were a little more forgiving than the T300s or the 921s.

I'm playing T300. Just got fitted and clubs delivered a couple of months ago. I had never broke 80 before these clubs and I've done it 4 times now. Biggest thing I notice consistently is when I mishit, it seems to carry straighter than my old clubs. I can still duck-hook or slice it off if my swing comes unglued, but most misses are still down the middle and the distance is all that struggles.
I got the heavier and stiffer shafts. Lie angle is 2degrees rather than the stock 3 degrees so a little more upright. I think having the correct lie angle has helped as much or more than the clubs themselves.

Do it! I made the switch to the T300's with regular shafts and it has been a pleasant change. They feel great and I've added a little yardage.

Glad someone else said this also. I think they're lofted a bit more aggressively than the norm so it makes sense but I'm definitely getting more distance out of them. Sometimes frustratingly so.

Bring an extra jar of sand in your cart hitting those shovels, the T200 look good but not a fan of the plastic in the back and read lots of complaints.

Can you please clarify what you mean regarding "2 degrees" rather than "stock 3 degrees"?

He said his clubs were fitted, so they bent the lie angle 1* flat from 3* down to 2*
