winning the popular vote took away their "he's not a legitimate president" argument. what else can they say? it was a mandate

Give it a couple of days for it to fester after the shock has set in today, then it back to the normal rants.

No

Some of us told you this loss was expected, they wouldn't have 2016-level melts, and this is the first step towards moving towards more moderate positions.

It got worse once they tried to ask about the biggest issue which was the economy by a long shot. How they can be so out of touch is amazing but not shocking if you think about it.

It will be like last time. They will take 48 hours to say, “hey, maybe we’re just a bunch of elitist, know nothing, assholes who can’t identify with half of the country.”

But then it will be back to “Impeach that mother fricker!!”

Many of them fear the camps and are hiding their emotions.

trump had all the momentum coming in. despite their lies, they had to know there was a strong chance of this.

I will eat my hat if they adopt “moderate positions”

I expect they’ll lean harder into handouts and back away from the trans stuff a smidge

Only if they lose the House. Otherwise it will be full scale obstruct and impeach like last time.

I really wonder, though I doubt it, is if the MSM looks at what happened last night as maybe a referendum of the horse crap they have been shoveling the past 9 years……and maybe they decide to take a more balanced approach. That would be refreshing. Of course, I have a greater chance of winning the lottery than this happening, but hey, a guy can dream.

That's moving to moderation.

They also have the ability to silence the extremists without even having to take a stance on the issue.

They're just going to stop covering these issues in their coordinated outlets and they won't be national stories anymore. I already saw one melt this morning about NYT (and they didn't even do the non-endorsement like WAPO, LAT, USAtoday, etc.).

Exactly why places like the LA Times, Wapo, and USA Today did their non-endorsements.
