Got second in 10 man ppr. Thinking of taking thielend as my second pick if Antonio brown is gone.

Who you taking with your 1st rounder ?
Thielen is never a bad choice. In a new system , I'd prefer him to AB. dude carried my team most of the season last year

In a PPR league yeah.

Tyreek and juju would be your guys in this spot if available.

Tyreek and juju will prob be gone. Antonio might be available but Evans Allen and thielen will probably be. My first pick will be Saquan.

Thought you were 2nd ? Someone passing on barkley?

I'd take both over Thielen.

Likely not available. Reek and Juju are adp 16 and 15 respectively
In a 10 teamer I’d double down at RB there and look to take whoever is left of those 3 receivers with your 3rd pick at 22, then take Edelman or one of the Rams receivers at 39
Edit:
Basically this:
1st: whoever RB you like
2nd: Mixon/Chubb/Cook (your choice if available)
3rd: leftover of Thielen, Evans, Allen
4th: Edelman/Rams receivers

Yeah I meant my third, sorry. Probably take a rb at 2 but was thinking of taking thielen at 3 instead of Allen or Evans. Can’t decide.

You might not have a choice, but if you do I’d go Evans, Thielen then Allen

Had the 3rd pick in standard 10 team league. Was able to grab M. Evans with my 3rd pick and Thielen with my 4th pick. In PPR I’d probably grab Thielen in the 3rd depending on who is there in the 2nd.

I know it’s not a sure thing that he throws a temper tantrum and takes his ball home at some point this season, but I can’t help but scratch my head at the people who are going out of their way to target AB this year.... wayyyy too much risk to pick in the first or second round IMO

I love Thielen but I was faced with a choice of him or Keenan Allen in my draft on Sunday (12 team PPR) and chose Allen.
More explosive offense, better QB, not an established proportion of targets like there is with Diggs.
Plus Thielen did have a marked downturn in productivity when it counted toward the end of last year. Not expecting that, but it is sort of a thing.

Didn’t they get a new offensive coordinator in the middle of the year?

That was my approach. New system, Gruden likes to run, have a few good weapons.
Also saw a stat that Gruden has only had 3 WRs over 1200 yards, and never had a WR catch over 100 passes. May not be relevant since Gruden has been out of the game, and the QBs he had, but just more fodder for me to not want to go the AB route

Would y’all think it’s a bad idea to take cook second pick and thielen third?
