The salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's isn't terrible.

Pappadeaux's.

This

Ninfa’s was legit. Don’t know if they had enough locations to qualify as a chain.

High end steak houses usually are, like a Ruth's Chris of Fleming's.

Popeye's, if you catch it just right.

That's about it.

Actually surprised no mention of Copelands, good or bad!
Our favorite is the filet, and is consistent in quality, texture, and flavor!
My personal second choice is the paneed veal over shrimp and tasso pasta!

What exactly are you expecting when you go to a
chain restaurant? I see people here bitch constantly about chains. Why? If you’re going to a chain restaurant you shouldn’t expect a five star, unique, or fine dining experience? You should expect a decent
Meal. Nothing more, nothing less.
To answer your question, most of them are “worth a shite” if you go in with reasonable expectations. Otherwise they’d be out of business.
I don’t think the problem is the chains. I think it’s people like you who are expecting a Michelin 5 star experience at a chain restaurant price.

Ain’t happening.

Ruth's and the Papa's Restaurants come to mind. Torchys tacos but that's kind of fast food

El Tiempo Cantina in Houston area.

Does this count as a chain? There's about 10 locations all in the greater Houston area. Not sure how the distinction is made. It's one of my favorite restaurants.

We don't have any of those places here with the exception of Chili's and ever since they took chicken fried steak off the menu, I haven't gone back. That's been several years.

I like Hooters. I like the wings. Wish we'd get one here.

Chick Fil A is always good.

The other places.... eh.....

We're supposed to get a Piccadilly but who knows when/if that's going to happen. I love Piccadilly. Call me old or whatever, I don't care. It's good.

someone invited us a few months ago. Sirloin, sweet potato, salad, and the rolls for $12. Tasted fine. I can think of worse places.

El pollo loco isnt bad for grilled chicken. I think Popeyes bought it and is expanding throughout the US.

As long as Ruth's Chris is considered a chain, the answer will always be yes.

The Pappas family in TX has some perfectly fine restaurants, though that probably doesn't quite qualify as a chain since they have a bunch of different restaurants.

Also, I'm not proud of it, but I think Chili's burgers are money when the mood strikes.
