Maybe there is some regional variation with Canes. But the ones here in Colorado are the blandest, least seasoned things I’ve ever eaten.

CFA actually has better chicken fingers than Cane's. Cane's has better fries, and Texas toast. I am simply not a fan of waffle fries.
CFA offers multiple sauces. Cane's has one sauce.
Both offer very good service for what they are, but CFA created and maintained the bar at this.

They are all like that. Cane's is a place that happens to sell chicken to go along with their sauce, which is what they are better known for.

Mama’s and Krispy Krunchy both beat the shite out of Chick Fil A and Canes. And neither of those needs sauce.
Though I will admit to getting the BBQ sauce at KK and dabbing every other tender bite in some.

Anyone that likes CFA fries is a complete retard. They're so bad, that when they opened at LA Tech in the student center in the 90s, I went twice, and went back to eating school cooked food. That's really shitty.
Their chicken is brined in pickle juice, but it's still not good. The simps here love it because their wives love it. The chicken at Cane's isn't great either, but the fries, toast, and sauce put a broadside on CFA. If you want good chicken, you go to Popeyes. You only go to CFA so your wives think they've feeding their kids "healthy" food.
CFA nuggets are pretty good. However, nobody that buys those breakfast platters ever seems to notice that everyone shucks the "biscuit" and just eats the nugget.

I’m very far from a CFA stan, but what? 
Most everyone I know adores the Chicken Minis and definitely does not throw out the little honey biscuit.
And the waffle fries are infinitely better rated by people than the limp yet mealy crinkles steaming in a Canes box.

Yea the waffle fries are great. I will concede that they can be very inconsistent location to location and even at the same location sometimes, but usually the ones I frequent they are salted very well and are great. I've always been curious when I get fries that have basically no salt at all, if someone ahead asked for a fresh batch of unsalted fries and i'm unfortunately getting that batch as they try and get rid of them. If that is the case, I kind of have an issue with that policy if that is the case, but otherwise the fries are solid and are night and day better than Canes.

Eat the Cane's fries first, and don't DoorDash them. CFA fries are nearly unsalted and completely nasty.
Watch what happens at the next tailgate to the Chicken minis. Most women don't want the carbs, and they're dry like a Popeye's biscuit, so most men toss the biscuit soon into starting to eat them.

I have never seen someone throw away the bread of a chicken mini, literally never seen it.
