Orange habanero. That's as hot as I ever want anything to be. Fruity and sweet big heat, but yeah that's it.
My masculinity doesn't derive from my ability to eat chilis.

I’ve had the pepper spray. Not food but I def ingested it.

What is the hottest one y'all have had?
Trinidad Scorpion Butch T's that I grew 2 years ago.
Now I just go with habanero and ghost peppers.
Will go with Carolina Reapers if I can ever find the plants at a local nursery. I got some seeds last year and the ones that did come up faded fast and died, but my habanero, Belgian hot wax, ghost and bell peppers survived just fine. Don't know what happened.

I dont know what I ate but Thai Chili delivered me the wrong item and it wrecked me for a couple hours. I thought it was sesame chicken until I saw the whole chili peppers hidden in the sauce. It was one of those "its actually indigestion but holy shite im having a heart attack!" moments

Honestly, I don’t know, but I ordered spicy goat vindaloo from Swagat ( they have mild, regular, spicy, and Indian spicy) and it was very spicy and I couldn’t really taste the food. I am afraid to order the next level - Indian spicy.

I did get mine this way on the same dish. I was sweating like mike Tyson in a spelling bee. The bad part was that some of the sauce got mixed in with my rice that my 3 year old was helping me eat and it got pretty loud in there once he got a bite of that stuff.

Would you get it that way again? I don’t quite see the point of eating stuff that spicy. The regular is very tasty, but not real spicy - just a bit of kick. The spicy is probably too spicy. I’ll have to ask one time if I can get it between regular and spicy.

Right. I think that I said that's as hot as I'd like things to get. I don't care to eat anything hotter.

The spiciest I ate was Mirchi Bajji which is the Indian street version of fried Jalapeno.
It is supposed to be not super spicy because you are supposed to remove the seeds and prep it with stuffing.
Indian restaurants in US don't get that order much so they just fry the jalapeno unseeded. I usually get those and stuff with onion, tomato mixture. It is spicy.

Not sure. My threshold is higher than anyone else I know and it was teetering on being too damn hot for me. Mrs jkyle took one bite and started drinking my toddlers milk and wanted to puke. I’d prob take it down a notch next time. I love that feeling of it clearing your head out though.

Guyanese Pride Mango Achar
It's a green mango pickle that is made with hot peppers and mustard oil. It will light your arse on fire.

Carolina Reaper, though I hesitate to call it food and would categorize it more as chemical weaponry. I have a friend who grows them.
Not only did my life pass in front of my eyes, I'm pretty sure YOUR lives passed in front of my eyes during the hallucinations.
I didn't even eat the whole thing. I just took a small bite to see what the fuss was.

Went to an Indian place in the Fitzrovia area of London and asked for 4 peppers heat level. The waiter looked at me and said, "I give you 3 peppers." He was correct in his assessment. I enjoyed it, but I don't think I could have eaten it if it was any hotter. I thanked him later for sparing me.
Tried a habanero decades ago. That was enough. Have never done so again.

Indian vindaloo and wasn't able to get beyond a few bites since there wasn't any thing to taste.

Tom Yum soup at Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas (spice level 7 on 1-10 scale). Like molten lava going down my throat. I have never been so miserable.
