Wendy's bacon double cheeseburger is severely underrated.
I'm not saying it's the best burger in fast food, I'm saying it's the most underrated, which was OP's question.

The most underrated burger in Metairie is the Classic at the Cheesecake Factory. Not the old fashioned burger, the classic one!

Goodwood Grill in Baton Rouge. Their hamburger is tops in my book - patty is extremely tender. Their chicken club is excellent, also.

The SoLou burger is the best burger in baton rouge, IMO. And the fact that no one ever mentions it means it is severely underrated.

Mango's Volleyball on Sherwood has a double smash burger and I legit think it's the best burger in BR right now. I get it every Thursday night after I play. Incredible lacing on the sides. I'll take a pic next time and post it.

Had a burger from Our Moms recently and was blown away. It was really, really good. Def top 3 in BR for me.

Used to be one of my favorites. After Covid though, their burger got smaller and threw off their meat to bun to fixins ratio IMO.
Best burger in BR IMO that nobody talks about is Beer Garden. Bacon cheeseburger with pickles. Mmm mmm! They and Mansur’s also have the best fries.
