Hadn’t eaten here in years… no more salad bar- they have an actual bar in place now. Remodeled.

It was all good. 4 of us ate for $80 including tip.

Enough leftovers for another meal

8/10

Their ribs are really really good.

I like the classic mild tangy mild sauce still.

It’s odd how that location has thrived for over 40 years and that’s their only one in the Baton Rouge metro area.

Not sure why they never added more locations throughout the city.

I enjoy it for what it is. It’s not going to compare to any hometown authentic place, but it’s a good restaurant to visit occasionally and enjoy a meal.

I love Sonny's but miss that salad bar even though it was limited.

The Gonzales location opened up a few months ago. It's solid for what it is. They serve (both locations) a great smoked bird.

Kind of like everyone said, it's good for what it is. I've been going to that Sonnys on Florida since I was a kid. It never blew you away, but it was always consistently decent. You can eat with a family and not break the bank.

The one in Clinton and Brandon are both good. We ate at one in TN once and it was good too. For us, they are 3 out of three OK.

I grew up eating at the one in BR 35 years ago.

Opened a few months ago. As good and consistent as the Florida blvd location. It’s on hwy 30 near the hospital in the new growing development.

The burger is underrated
Very good

The original Sonny’s flooded in 2016
That’s when they did all the renovations

The ribs are tasty. The sides are nothing special but are pretty decent.
