You can also throw Space Marine remastered into the mix. I haven't bought SM2 yet, since I just upgraded my 8 year old GPU a month or two ago, but I'm sure it's going to send all the fans into overdrive.

I have put almost 300 hours into Space Marine 2
. That game is not only beautiful, but the combat is some of the best I have ever played. Really blends the power fantasy with difficulty perfectly.

It sounds like the people that had a bad time with Monster Hunter Wilds were due to their PC performance. Would probably be one of the best tests to try.

Thats where my 14700k idles with an aio. 40% is where my fan speed curve hits 100%. Is yours idling at 39c while on 100%?

That’s actually one of my least favorite parts of modern computing/gaming. Doesn’t matter how “cool” you keep your PC, physics says the heat has to go somewhere, and that somewhere is the room you’re in. At 500+ watts, you’re basically sitting next to a low powered space heater

I made the minor mistake of leaving my headset on top of my tower. No damage to it or anything, but putting them on quickly reminded me that it would be a bad idea to leave them up there for an extended period with the PC running

I loved Rogue Trader and that entire lore, so I do plan on giving Space Marine and SM2 a look once I'm done with Clair Obscura.
I swear, it was so weird at first in that game listening to Daredevil give advice to Shadowheart
