Based on his performance this year, he's already qualified for the final 30 in Atlanta in two weeks. He can skip this week, play in Atlanta for the FedEx championship, and then head off to the Saudi exhibition league.

However wins at East Lake will win the FedEx Cup so if Cam wins in Atlanta ...he's 18 million richer and can say Adios Amigos...a la mierda gilipollas... voy a pescar y ser golfista a tiempo parcial...while signing for 150 million LIV dollars!

As an Astros fan, the word “discomfort” is paralyzing because it might mean a few days rest or missing almost an entire season. I hope Cam competes in the championship in Atlanta and decides to stay on the PGA after playing in the presidents cup.

Did he break a rule or not?
I personally think there should be a statute of limitations on something like this. Maybe like 5 holes, or an hour and a half. If no penalty is given by the next 5 holes then no penalty. What if this happened on Sunday instead of Saturday?

The scoring is not complete until the player signs his scorecard. Up until that point it's just TV people keeping unofficial score.
Technically Cam signed a false scorecard and would have been DQ'd under the old rules. He actually caught a break with that change.
Funny thing is I read all this fan outrage about the penalty yet Cam took it in stride and accepted the ruling because he knows it's a rule and he screwed up.
