He’s going to dominate that tour if he chooses to play regularly.

He won’t for a while. Too much ego. And I don’t blame him.

Hard to believe that he is 50 now.

He will be a force out there with his length on the shorter Champions Tour courses.

He made a bogey on a par 5.

And shot 61.

Do they normally play M-T-W or is this due to fedex playoffs?

ETA: Ozarks looks sick

Not really sure. I always assumed they played
Thurs-Sun like the regular tour.

It's easy to say ego, but why play Champions when you can compete on Tour?

Right now, his season is over on the Tour, except majors. Playing Senior to stay ready and to have some fun before Tiger gets there

Tiger isn't playing the Champions Tour apart from the Senior US Open

Phil is about to hit bombs and be a force on Champions Tour.

Tigers joked many times he looks forward to the champions tour because he gets a cart and misses his old buddies

I am sure nothing would make the guys on the Senior Tour happier if Phil and Tiger played some events. The purses would go up real quick.

Men rarely have the ability to walk away from things when they can still compete. There are exceptions, particularly in football, but in golf they usually play as long as they can compete. Women are much more likely to quit when they can still compete than men. It’s not just the champions tour with old guys anymore. Those guys have taken care of their bodies and compete at a remarkably high level. Purses are amazing, three day tournaments, carts and they play at really nice locations. I’d be surprised if he’s ever full time, but I expect he’ll play with some frequency to remain competitive for majors.

Question for Tiger is more whether his body will hold up well enough to be competitive. I agree with you if he cannot compete at a high level then he won’t play there. It’s also a long time before he is even eligible.

Tiger was asked about Phil and playing on the PGA Tour Champions in his press conference this morning. Said he hadn't really thought about it since it was 6 years away and he'd missed so much of the past few years with injuries. Said he expected Phil to do really well since he was one of the longer hitters on the regular Tour and he'd likely be the longest guy on the Champions Tour.

I’d much rather watch the champions tour with Tiger than the pga tour without him (except for Majors which he’d play anyway)

I already enjoy watching champions tour, but his draw would make it extremely more popular I’d imagine
