I don’t even really know what it is. But Frankie annoys me more than just about anything. Riggs just seems like he tries way too hard to be country club guy. His golf ego is just of someone who’s way better than him. But I guess he’s done really well with the barstool classic stuff. Obviously they are popular. Just not really for me. Don’t want to sit here and rip them for no reason.
I really enjoy NLU. Think they all bring a good dynamic to the table. Good interviews and their YouTube content far exceeds anyone else’s out there in my opinion. Strapped tourist sauce and wild world of golf is so good.
The one with knost or whatever is good but the other guy that just mumbles along kinda ruins it for me. The Spieth interview dude was just hammered and could barely talk.

This has been debated on here before but imo NLU is far superior to foreplay.
NLU actual golf knowledge is light years ahead of the guys at foreplay and you are going to get much more in depth talk about golf, courses and the players.
Foreplay is definitely more geared toward the casual golf fan and I get that but it doesn’t appeal in anyway to me. It’s weird cause I don’t mind Riggs in other capacities at barstool but don’t like him in the golf role. Also, as others have said Frankie is the absolute worst and comes off as an absolute a-hole in everything he does

I like nlu a lot. Soly comes off as a dick but I can tolerate him. Really like Randy, Dj and Neal. Tron is kind of a dick too now that I think about it but that is part of their vibe. I like foreplays content, especially the kiz and pat perez stuff. If they would can riggs I would like them even more. He is a total douche and I don’t use that word often

I agree with most of this. I listen to both podcasts every so often and enjoy the YouTube content they each put out especially Strapped. That being said NLU needs to get rid of Tron, he comes off as a huge dbag, not funny at all and just in general sucks. I think his brother Neil is awesome, Randy is good most of the time, soly is okay and DJ pie is hit and miss. Foreplay is hard to listen to. Honestly they should just have Ryan Whitney do foreplay, that dude is genuinely funny

I actually enjoy Tron. Like 90% of the time he talks it sounds like he either just finished crying or is trying to hold back the tears. I like Neil but I feel like he tries too hard to make a really insightful analogy and they normally don’t work. Randy the goat

Foreplay guys do a good job when they play with a pro. Their Pat Perez and Kisner videos were pretty funny.

agree completely. Both put out decent youtube videos. Beyond that I don't particularly listen to anything.
I will somewhat listen to NLU if its a major and they are talking betting.

If you like these guys, you should also check out EAL and Random Golf Club. Erik can annoy me at times, but genuinely is a good dude and storyteller. Their team is really producing good content. They just did a great piece with Graeme McDowell. Really made me like him even more than I did.

I’ve watched EAL’s stuff and it’s great content. Far better visually than foreplay or NLU. I really enjoy his course reviews. However, EAL is just as annoying to me as Frankie is. Maybe it’s the Cali bruh thing or the fact that I know he moved to Texas and is a huge lib. But he does a better job producing the content he has compared to the others, which is why I enjoy his videos.

I agree. He seems to irrationally hate Koepka. That bugs me a bit because he seems like a pretty cool guy every time he is on Pardon My Take.

Niether do I. Every time I watch their videos, all I think to myself is that these guys don't deserve this. Trent is the only one that is likable. Riggs is a 12 handicap who thinks he's a scratch. Frankie is just whiny/annoying.

Exactly. Unreal producer/creator. Can be annoying as the host/narrator. Intent is pure though in what he’s trying to do which is tell unique golf stories not necessarily self promote.

Honestly, that's what I loved about NLU back in the day. The irrational hate for Bubba and ZJ. The no holds bar takes from the top rope based on nothing more than conjecture or the way a guy walks. The LPCP thing with Kuch was solid. They talked about golf the way I did with my friends. I hate golfers for random reasons. That's normal.
Once they got to know the players and get a little more established they lost the shoot from the hip mentality. Which I get. I just liked the old stuff.
Also, I like Tron. Neil's shtick wears me down some. I love Big Randy, but don't get the vibe he even looked golf. I say all of that to say - they each have a role they play and each role caters to a different segment of their viewership. It's by design. I don't think anyone truly loves all 5 of them a the time. It's the Spice Girls setup for golf. There something for everyone.
