Don't buy these if you ever want to walk. I have a pair of the 1 low's and they are the most uncomfortable golf shoe I've ever worn.

Yea I mean for me they're not even remotely close to my New Balance and FJ's. Jordan 1's in non golf shoes aren't comfortable, so I wasn't surprised that they weren't comfortable golf shoes. I only wear them when I'm riding. They also have a slight squeak to them when you walk. Super annoying and I went online and read some reviews and numerous people complained about them squeaking There are for sure better golf shoes out there in that same price range.

I’ve been wearing regular Nike running shoes - old school with waffle soles - when it’s nice out. I get about the same grip as a lot of the new golf tennis shoes. I keep a pair of FJs around for when it’s damp.

FootJoy Flex if you don't want waterproof

Those gray spikeless FootJoy Flex are the most uncomfortable golf shoe I've ever worn, from very 1st round I wore them. Played about 5 with them before I had buy some inserts.

Puma & New Balance are very comfortable for me, both spikeless and soft spikes. New Balance didn't surprise as I love their sneakers & running shoes, but I had never owned Puma prior.

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. Keep them coming.

Just on the aesthetic appeal, I’m kind of leaning toward the FJ HyperFlex Carbon at this time. I will definitely try the Puma Ignite on as well. I want the soft spike version rather than the spikeless.

I think you’re on the right track with those two. Would suggest ECCO, but will probably be tough to find any in that price range.

They are the biggest try hard on the golf course right now.

I've got 5 pairs of different shoes and I'd say they slightly behind the Freestyle for walking 18-27 holes. I've got two pairs of Pumas but they're now just a range shoe because the heel cushion on both wore out very very fast from walking. Comfortable but not really sensible for walking.

There is a reason the Puma Ignites are so cheap.

The FootJoy freestyle (in whatever color you want) are more comfortable than the flex but they can get hot being waterproof. My FJ ProLyte Boa's are my goto show when riding but not really a sneaker shoe.

I walk a lot, and FJ Fuels are the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever owned that can also stand up to wet conditions. I would personally never own anything with mesh while in Louisiana.

Olukai Ka'anapali

I like them so much that they've turned into my every day shoe and bought another pair just for golf. Great arch support too, which I need.

Dang, those look good.

I have the Hyperflex and they are really comfortable, but they have that stretchy section at the top and you can't wear no show socks with it or it will rub your ankles raw. First 18 I played in them I wanted to die. I had put band aids all around my ankles to help the rubbing and they'd just fall off. Such a miserable round

Saw these while googling and now need a pair asap.

The Carbon's have the same thing.. I ended up buying a crap ton of the FJ socks that match the shape because my normal socks were too short...

Also, the sock section is a pain in the arse to clean i've found.. Granted mine are white.. greyish tan would have been much better...

Yeah I love the idea of the Hyperflex, just not where I live. I like to keep my shoes clean and getting mud in cloth area would just gum up everything. You'd never be able to get it out.

As for the shoes in the 2nd image (Pro SL's), love the look even if it's team Europe. I had a pair in white and green a few years back and they were solid. Just more stiff and boxy compared to the Fuels, so I didn't find them nearly as comfortable when it came to walking a course, especially on back nine.

I can tell you from experience, that hot water, dawn soap and a little scrub brush works wonders.. also.. if you hit it with some spray and wash prior then it comes clean with a little effort
