Guess you missed Indiana and their team of unranked, 2 and 3 stars roll thru the season.

I mean this board is full of people saying you can’t win a natty at Ole Miss because you can’t god enough players

Going to 105 scholarships teams aren going to dig deeper and take way more flyers. All you can do is trust the process because LK and Glasscock have been doing this for quite a few years now with success. Also we lost a lot of bodies. Their evaluation process has worked well so far.

Are we actually filling our kick off team through the portal??

Casual. The roster numbers have expanded. These two are basically walk-ons based on the new setup. They likely aren’t getting a dime of rev share money and will maybe get a little sponsorship at best.

Sooo… basically it seems like majority of this board has no patience, don’t want to let Kiffin and staff build and develop the team.

$210,000,000 should be new NIL pot. We’re gonna need more donors.

Sadly it is true. LSU just signed a CB that couldn't even start for Southern. While Texas signs the top RB in the Big 12. How are we supposed to beat anyone with this going on?

You do realize the inherent contradiction in the point you’re making, right? The more money you spend on starters, the less that remains to fill out the back end of the roster. If you want LSU to make splash signings like Texas did at RB, then you should also be happy to see they aren’t expending a lot of resources on the back end guys.

I don't see where a 3rd string player should be getting any $$$ at all. A scholarship is more than enough for a practice squad contributor. A backup at Southern is the equivalent of a walk on and LSU could have all the walk on's it wanted just by opening a try out day one day. I don't get your comparison at all.

That’s my point. They probably AREN’T paying these guys anything (or very little) to fill the back end slots. They aren’t getting former 4 and 5 star players from P4 teams to sign on to fill those last slots for next to nothing. If they were paying bigger money to fill those slots, they wouldn’t have as much to spend on starters.

I’m sure if you were an Ole Miss fan you would have loved the signing of the QB from Ferris St. last year.

Gotta love a guy behind a keyboard telling the 18 or more coaches and staff making around 20 Mil, they don't know what they're doing...

We lost a lot of players who played very little or not at all who you have to replace for depth.

I’m not sure how some people here even tie their shoes.

Did you notice that LK got Chambliss from D2 or 3, I forget. He's also developed other players from FCS etc.
