He was a guard trying to play tackle as a freshman. He never stood a chance, especially being coached by Brad Davis

I downloaded you not because I disagree with what you said, but because you insinuate that it’s up to us whether or not he leaves.

He may not be certain that he’s going to be developed the way he should be. Or he may just not like the locker room for whatever reason.

It’s his call.

He didn't get everything handed to him so he pouted All the way to the transfer portal. Based on the whispers of his immaturity and all that nonsense I can only imagine what he asked for money' wise? Suck it up and compete.. he would probably start and get a healthy payday in an offense that will only help his stock.. hopefully he humbles himself and stays the course

Sounds like Curne was a prima donna that didn’t jive with the new staff.

Sad I thought he was going to be one of the best Davis is a real piece of work what he did with some of the most talented lineman I remember being at lsu.

Really can’t wait to see what new staff is capable of

It’s all about assessed value now. It appears Curne’s current dollar value did not match up with Kiffin/Glasscock’s evaluation metrics on him.

Right or wrong…they have a system, and they use it

Curne is the highest rated OL in the portal. Anyone here claiming he doesn't have talent is a joke.

Sounds like you pulled that out your arse to create your own narrative about the kid because he's entering the portal.

OM Coach & AD will be hunting our players and coaches until the end of their tenures at OM. Book it.

6-5" 320? a little lite but far from not having a tackle profile. He's 18 and was bounced around the line while getting second string rep's all summer.

Big difference is the gun. Ours is a howitzer compared to their BBgun.

Maybe I don’t know behind the scenes how he acts!

I'm sure Kiffin will offer Curne what he's worth in comparison to the rest of the roster.

He didn’t look different on the field. However, of all the linemen that should be replaced, Curne is the one that gets a little grace. But,…he gone.

To contradict your take, Todd McClure was interviewed, he gushed over Curne calling him “just different” so I’ll take the opinion of a guy who played thirteen years in NFL

This is a big loss. This player will start the next 25 plus games, and it looks like we’re going to have to go against him.

All these kids are pressuring the programs for bigger paydays. Wouldn't you?

Different.... LOL
Like DENVER HARRIS....

1) Curne didn't say he's not coming back
2) this will be a numbers decision, and the ROI was NOT NOT NOT A GOOD ONE for Curne

Perhaps, renegotiate a new contract, that pays more for performance, than the OVERPAYMENT of $200k last year

You can give him a $100k guarenteee with a bonus structure that pays him upto $400k
That might keep him, but this is a PERFORMANCE SITUATION and it was PISSSS POOR

I’ll let Coach Kiffin decide whether he wants to keep Curne or not.
