I think he declares for the draft regardless.

I agree. Him and Mendoza look to be the picks of the litter

Pavia actually played what looks like 6 full seasons of college football.

No, the situations couldn’t be more different. Pavia played in JUCO, which is outside the control of the NCAA. And he sued to get that time not counted against his eligibility and won.

Chambliss played in D2, which is still the NCAA, and he applied for a waiver from the NCAA. He didn’t take this to court like Pavia. The situations are nothing alike.

think his height is okay.

How many passes did he have batted down at the LOS last night? Don't get me wrong, he played an outstanding game and I would love to see him in the purple & gold but the NFL will hold it against him. Right or wrpng it probably keeps him out of the 1st round.

y'all got one great QB that was that tall so let's compare Trinidad Chambliss to one of the greatest of all time.

Probably rope 2-3 rounds but his height and slight build will be seen as a negative by NFL scouts

You cherry pick the only person on Earth that was able to overcome a height deficit and think just anyone can do it now?

He’s smaller than Brees, and shorter. His size is an issue. He’ll get a chance. It won’t be in the 1st rd though lol

You act like we are scouting the grocery stores for the next Kurt Warner. He is one of the top QBs currently in football not just some no name schmo.

Hurts is 6’1”
Russell Wilson is 6’ at best. Likely more like 5’10.

Height and hand size etc are all overrated. Quick processing, putting thr ball where it needs to be, making out of form throws, and making those critical down plays are all more important. Chambliss has all of those.

Sort of, he got an injunction in place that allowed him to play this past season. The lawsuit is yet to be adjudicated.

But, otherwise, you are correct.

Chambliss is prob 5’10”. Hes a bit of a Temu Kyler Murray. He will measure similarly

5’10”
207lbs
9.5” hands

Bryce Young

5’10”
204lbs
9.75” hands

His size isn’t a death wish.

Drew Brees is 6ft on a good day, Trinidad Chambliss is 6'1 according to ESPN. They are basically the same height.

So based on the responses of this thread, I am not sure exactly how tall Chambliss really is.

Tall enough to get drafted. Russ and Drew both won a Super-Bowl at that height and Murray is still playing. It's about the fight of the dog.
