Wouldn’t this be a federal crime for racketeering or something?
Not really, using Sam as a commodity kind of muddies the waters. Both sides still have free will, so it's not truly enforceable. Unethical and a really shitty tactic to use, but I doubt illegality would be worth pursuing.

I’d move on. This isn’t Tim Tebow. He’s a guy with a major injury and family who’s clearly a headache.

F that…if the foot situation is good sign Sam. If his dipshit brother wants other clients he can pick up a piece of cardboard and stand on the side of the road at traffic lights.

If he means other players he represents….time to move on.
If he means just a sense of the depth chart who will be playing w his brother, then I think that’s reasonable. That tells me that they want to win and they are not just focused on the $$. If I was a QB recruit and looked at LSU current o line, I would want to know a plan also.

So...he's wanting what he thinks is best for his brother/client?
That's not what is happening here. They are saying that if you want Sam, you have to sign other players Dallin represents. That is not doing what is best for your client/brother. That is looking out for your own pockets as the ride along players are likely not worth the asking price.

I wouldn't call it a pyramid scheme but more like extortion or blackmail. His brother has been a clown the entire time. He was the one who said that Sam would enter the portal WELL BEFORE the legitimate opening on the portal.

No but a promise for future clients… look at the Williams agent situation. Same agent for coach and player. Now Lane is with Jimmy and he isn’t moving, but Leavitt wants a certain “promise” to steer players his way.

Dallin doesn’t have the book of business. He is wanting LSU to provide that for him.

Bye bye, Sam. And bless your heart, Dawlin’. Go be someone else’s problem.

What does LSU have to do with who other players hire as their agents?
Posted on 1/9/26 at 9:13 am to St Augustine
No sir, that was Dwalin!

That tracks with what we know. I tried telling y'all - his brother is bad news.
Now, is this the first time a kid is represented by a scummy agent/handler? No.
I shouldn't talk much because he's visiting us this weekend.

Oh, then yeah...that's different.

It’s been said that Sam is asking for the team he will sign with to commit other players on that team to using his brother as their agent.
That’s the part where you tell him to go frick themselves. Nothing good ever comes out of that type of stuff.

Walk away from Leavitt.....nothing but trouble and probably injured trouble and would not play and only get paid. Be smart for once LSU, walk away.

NCAA needs to start requiring that player agents be licensed like all of the pro leagues already do

Dealing with agents in College football is ridiculous.
