Now that Kiffin is coach, he may go after Haven. Who knows? I’m sure he’ll prioritize whoever fits what he wants in his QB and their fit in his system

I don't understand this line of thinking when it comes to college and I do not care about the NFL.

Haven throws like Vince Young.

Not a fan of the mechanics.

Ryan Perriloux was the best athletic qb I’ve seen in this area. This guy is a little taller. Not sure he has the arm Ryan had tho. Looks like an elite prospect though.

No he’s not lol. Houston would obliterate Dunhams competition on a weekly basis lmao. Houston had way more yds on a weekly basis against 5A competition than Haven did against 2A. Y’all need to chill out with this.

Haven plays for Dunham, not LCA

Haven is going to Bama. That’s a given. And it’s also a reason LSU went ahead and grabbed Houston

Not that I don’t believe you, but what makes you say that? After all, money talks (see Bryce Underwood and Michigan last recruiting cycle).

However, if the staff don’t think he’s worth the investment, then maybe they think that the more prudent investment is in Houston, which I can understand.
I understand that Haven is generally regarded as having a higher ceiling, but he’s raw, needing some work on fundamentals. I am generally of the opinion that it is not a good idea to break the bank on NIL for a HS kid, especially a QB who’s more of a raw prospect.

Like I said before, if Kiffin values Haven highly and thinks that he can get a return on the investment, money talks.

Standiford. His coach. I also just checked on3 and they have him at 80% chance to go to Bama. From what I was told he’s been a Bama boy for a while.

I've watched them both now. Haven is overall the better prospect, hands down. But both are very good.

Ridiculous statement. Lmao at “hands down”. Absurd.

He couldn’t match Haven vs LCA

Yeah, Underwood was all LSU . . . until he wasn’t.

Like I said, depending on how much they’re willing to spend. Personally, I don’t think it’s ever a good idea to spend that kind of money on an unproven HS QB who may be physically ready, but needs work with fundamentals and maybe other things. Paying a guaranteed redshirt the amount of money that would require to get him to LSU is not a good idea.

Spend that kind of money in the portal on someone who has proven himself and can come in and start.

I think if LSU thought they had a chance they wouldn’t have already taken Houston.

Kelly wasn’t recruiting Haven at all. Much to the dismay of Haven

This is a new staff now

Kelly wasn’t recruiting any one, let’s be real.

Haven had a great relationship with Joe Sloan, whom was given free rein in QB recruitments.
