We gotta hope our offense gets Leavittated next season.

Doesnt think the key to the NFL HoF is perfecting the art of throwing off of his back foot.

nuss has a bigger arm
If this is true, its not by much, and Leavitt is much more accurate on the long ball.

I have to say Nuss was front runner to begin the season. BK played him hurt and he only got worse.

Other than mobility

Well, he isn't mindfricked by Sloan... Nuss was very good the previous year, and I believe coaching failed him. Some drive-killing drops didn't help, but that can also be attributed to coaching.

Nuss probably has a touch more arm strength, but Leavitt is a decent bit more accurate and wayyyyyyyyy more mobile

Just as an FYI, Leavitt was the ONLY qb with a PFF grade of 80+ in both passing and rushing.

Oh yeah. He’s the real deal when healthy

Night & Day! In a good way.

Pressure made him shite the bed

He will have coaching.
Big difference.
You are correct in the coaching will be better this year, but it still made me laugh. Nuss has been coached by his dad all his life in addition to his actual coaches. At this point Nuss is what he is.

Hopefully he has better decision making. That was the problem with Nuss. He could make all the throws
Other than the deep ball. He couldnt connect on one of those to save his life.

Do you want someone to compare Leavitt to Andrew Hatch while we're at it???
Posted on 1/12/26 at 6:26 pm to tigertracts
He can run for an easy first down instead of throwing int triple coverage for an interception. Then hold his chin straps like a child. I would take any quarterback from the last 20 years before Nuss. He sucked.

Purely off hype from a 4k yard season in 2024 and the thought that LSU had the talent to be a contender. He was a Texas Bowl level quarterback.

Mind over matter. Nuss mentally never recovered from the torn muscle, it affected his throws.
Leavitt might not be running as much BUT CLK loaded up with receivers!!
