Considering that Kiffin got his start at USC and that USC video matches exactly what was described, I don't think there can be any doubt that this is true. Apparently, he stole the idea from Pete Carroll.
Freakin' weird.

I think this is the same tactic Mark Mangino used on Todd Reesing.

It's a shame Coach O never coached under Jackie Sherril. They could have taken their shirts off while castrating a bull.

Dear Lord,
At this time I want to thank you for not leading me into the coaching profession. Thank you for not placing me in a situation where I must remove my shirt in front of young men and then insist that they do the same. You led me down a more masculine path. I hit my knees every morning and give thanks for my career as a Broadway dancer and not as a coach on the UT football team. I can die with my dignity.

From a HS coach in North Carolina:
"Nothing surprises me with Ed Orgeron. He has been this way for years. Even
at the last job he got fired from. I am not impressed."

I hope Kiffin's dad didn't take his shirt off too, the recruits may be scarred for life...

Hey, Kiffin may be on to something. This whole recession thing might be avoided.
All Obama has to do is rip his shirt off at his next press conference and start yelling "Bail Out Wild Boys, Bail Out Wild Boys..." And maybe Hillary can start kicking some doors.
Kiffin is a Genius!!

I think that the coaches wanted the recruits to take their shirts off to and whoever's nipples got hard they would get a scholly offer.

"Tennessee is the only junior day I've been to so far. It went well," he said. "I had a real good time. At one point we were all in a defensive meeting and all the coaches just started going wild, taking off the shirts and getting crunk. It was crazy."

Laughed so hard, I got light headed and almost passed out.
