There is smoke that we’re getting Demond Williams, who was a top 5 QB in America as a freshman last year. Re-upped with Washington, then just magically hit the portal with a do-not-contact designation. The dude is an absolute animal and upgrade over any of the once available candidates.

In this scenario it’s much more likley, Williams is the starter, and Leavitt is the backup, considering his injury history. He backs up Williams and fully heals up. Starter in 2027.
Williams just threw for 3,100 yards, 25 TD’s, had 700 on the ground with another 6 TD’s. He had a 70% completion percentage. Williams may be the best of all of Leavitt, and Sorsby.

I don’t know why any of this would leak unless it’s a leverage play. Wouldn't get your hopes up. I think this helps with Leavett more than anything, Miami and Oregon worried me with him. I think this forces his hand.

I was told he was Kiffin’s QB1 ahead of Chsmblis but reupped with Washington and wasn’t going in the portal.
