He isn’t good enough to kick field goals. He is a kick off specialist. He should learn how to punt because of his leg strength, but it’s probably too late for that.

If we have 2 kickers chances are both will be able to kick off as well. We just had a situation where one of our kickers had a strong leg but no accuracy and the other had a weaker leg with good accuracy.

He had to have gotten injured this season The first half of the year his kickoffs were short-hopping the fence behind the endzone and one of the home games mid-season, I can't recall which one, he kicked one out of bounds in the first half, came out to practice at half time and kicked some of the most terrible kicks he's had at LSU, then proceeded to start popping the ball up and only landing them one or two yards deep in the end zone. His touchback percentage near the halfway mark was one of the tops in the nation and the back half of the year it almost seemed 50/50 on if it would be deep enough for a touchback.
But I do know that kid routinely drilled 60 yard field goals in pregame warmups.
