I can't tell you what he's thinking as a 20 year old, but when Camden Sunstrom was 12, he was a huge LSU fan and was frequently at the box.
Source - I coached him when he was 12
He's throwing really well for USM this year. I'm pretty sure he's moved into their weekend rotation.
I just think it would be really tough to leave being a weekend starter on a team with Omaha aspirations, under a really good pitching coach, in a near-power baseball conference. With a really good fanbase and atmosphere.

Would be really cool for him if he made his way back to BR.
Both parents are LSU grads. Grew up an LSU fan. LSU is (hopefully) just a better version of all that stuff you said about USM.
We do know that Jay wouldn't guarantee him a weekend spot, which is likely a massive factor in any decision he would make.

The starting SS at ULL is a freshman from Slidell
Blaze Rodriguez from Pope. He was hurt some of his senior season. Really good athlete. Good kid and family, too. He's struggled a bit at the plate as a freshman, but I think he'll be fine.

I think koa Romero is a future superstar

2026 RHP Kolby Stringer from Mississippi is a name to watch for. Lots of SEC interest. Currently committed to Pearl River but is looking like he will be D1 as a freshman.

I think he's supposed to visiting here this weekend.

I know he's a '27, but Jordin Griffin appears to be having a much better season (purely based on twitter clips) as a junior.
i still think he ends up at lsu just because of height. But bat speed, throwing velo and overall speed are off the charts. Really really good kid too.
Mid Major Football offers beginning to come in for Griffin as a RB. He'll have more than one decision to make.

he is a top 10 player on perfect game and is having an outstanding season. I know he loves football but baseball is his love. not much a decision to make

I tend to agree unless those mid major offers turn into P5 offers. Then things could get complicated. And with the amount of time baseball and football consume at the major college level, I think the era of two sport athletes is over.

Sawyer Pruitt at ULL is going to get looks from SEC schools. He's been touched up a little bit recently, but still looks really good on the mound for a freshman and has the build to become a dominant friday night guy.
50.1 IP, 55Ks, 22BB, 3.22 ERA.

I think Koa Romero will hit 20 homers in a season by the time his career here is over

I saw him pitch a couple of times in high school. Unhittable. His issue is his velo. Not many righties are getting opportunities in the SEC these days, topping out at 89-90.
Ole Miss processed him from its recruiting class because his fastball never developed as they hoped.
