Sure, but check his high school profile. This is a guy that Kiffin and Smith wanted at Ole Miss. Took official visits to Utah and Ole Miss. Plus, unofficial visits to Texas and Miami late in his "senior" year to go with a long list of major P4 teams offers.

Dude was a composite 40th ranked RB in high school, and played in one game as a freshman and redshirted. How in the hell else are they going to grade him? Kid has zero tape and was already a mid tier, based on star ranking, talent out of high school.

Was a top 100 RB before reclassifying but I do agree
Its hard to judge these kids in the portal when alot of them dont have playing time.
Kewan Lacy was a top 200 recruit in 2024 and a 3 star in the portal after

I know this is going to be hard for you based on the last 5-6 years of absolutely horrific talent identification and evaluation by our offensive staffs, but I think Kiffin has proved he can evaluate pieces that fit his offense.

There was one game in the early 2000s when LaBrandon Toefield was out broken arm, Shyronne Carey was out with a knee injury, so Dominick Davis & Rfr Joseph Addai got the bulk of the carries, and then one of them got helped off the field in the 2nd half. All I remember was LSU was down to one RB. And iirc, our other run threat QB Matt Mauck was out, too.
