I'm not saying you're wrong but after signing the number one running back in the country last year and having a productive returning junior, almost any other school would think they hit the lottery.

The LB has good potential but alot of questions; Weeks Ankle/Health, Keys can he learn to cover and read the Offense? would love to see Ross really step up in 26
TE room Green is a Wr so can the New guys and Lafleur Block and get those underneath/soft parts of the zone catches be the security blanket on 3rd down or dump offs?
QB ton of talent need The Lisfranc injury to heal quickly to get the OL/WR to gel with a new QB/System etc
Ton of potential just have to get it to gel, be healthy and work as a well oiled unit

Dude, at LB you have 3 of the top 5 returning tacklers in the SEC.
Whit has had 2 significant ankle injuries in consecutive seasons. Remains to be seen if he will be the same guy imo.
Dottery my impression albeit limited is he’s solid but not a star. Kind of a guy that fell into our lap.
Then after that? No one proven

We didn't have ANY QBs 2 weeks ago, and this board was in a panic.
We had like 8 WRs signed, and I was thinking, "How the hell is CLK signing these WRs without a QB?

LB is not a question mark.
Dottery really changed this group. Leading tackler in the SEC. Charles Ross has speed and size to become a star this year. We play with only 2 on the field most p!ays. Whit and Dottery might be the best duo in the country.

1-QB
2-WR
3-DB (would like 1 more CB)
4-TE
5-LB
6-RB
7-OL
8-DE
9-DT ( Richard Anderson could change this)
Feels hard to rank 5-8. Could swap any if them. If Richard Anderson plays anything like he did in high school, then DT moves up.

Just out of curiosity, is whats the main reason you put WR up so high? Are you counting Green as a WR? Confident in Lane and his scheme?
I think we only returned 1 WR from last year’s team and several of the new transfers at WR seem like projects.
Also agree with you at DT, really hope Anderson can give us a spark of the bench in key moments

I'm excited about the fact that our offensive line went from being the weakest group to being pretty damn good. Our starters are set at LT, C and probably RG.

I think we leave Green at TE, where he is a mismatch every play.
The Hawaii transfer is star level talent. I think he will be our #1.
12 TDs and 19.7 yards per catch last year. 6.3 height and good speed
Tre Brown and Winnie Watkins are perfect for a Lane offense and are sec starter level. Winnie will be a first down machine in the slot.
Jayce Brown could end up #1a receiver for us. Watch his highlights.
14 career TDs, 115 catches, 2000 receiving yards
It helps that we have a strong QB room, rebuilt Oline with a stud LT, and the play calling in a Lane offense. The WR room is set up for success.

If they are not starting caliber Lane messed up a lot.

The guys coming back really get lost in this discussion. Treydez, Weeks, Pickett.. are All American caliber players. I could see guys like Berry and McKinley blowing up next year as well.
Very exciting

Lineman can be starting caliber without starting or even playing before. Most lineman even high quality ones don’t start or play much the first year as it takes a year at least to get stronger and more mature physically and to adjust to the speed of the game and improve technique. Doesn’t mean they aren’t the caliber player to step in and be an above average starter just because they haven’t started yet in college
