Yep! If it's there, they're screwed if they don't put his name in the portal. It would be pretty damn funny if the NCAA fined them for half of their Revenue Sharing next year.

What? They are "testing" no such thing. The window had not closed. I don't know if Ole Miss has submitted his paper work to the NCAA yet, but it wouldn't show up over the weekend, anyway. Either way, the fact is that Umanmielen submitted his paperwork to Ole Miss before the deadline.
All Ole Miss is doing is trying to hold him to his contract, but his contract has a buyout, and if someone is willing to pay it, he has every right within the rules to leave. They don't have to like it, but there's nothing they can do about it.

This isn’t new. Joe Burrow didn’t go to classes either. Most of these 5th year players graduated already. They go to school year round.
