Everyone needs to remember that just because we have this huge NIL budget doesn’t mean they’re gonna blow it on a player that may not be worth that much. There’s a lot of things to consider. Have to consider the portal, etc. Not at all saying that’s the case here, but everyone needs to remember that if we miss out on a player.

However, I think you will see higher % of "flops" from your higher rated guys than in the past. Many get that money and then will stop working as hard and lose that competitive drive that got them there. thinking they made it.
Pay for play was always happening, it's just out in the open now.

I agree, but Duckworth is not gonna start for us next year. Who is? Were need somebody with some college experience and that comes from the portal. Our portal budget will need to accommodate this need.

Beamer will start the season on a major hot seat, so he's far from being guaranteed that Duckworth will have the HC he signed with. As for his ability, safe to assume that LK knows his QB's.

They also don't have an oc so LSU isn't much more of an unknown situation.
