Did you know the RB for Missouri that only had 23 carries for 104 yards? Maybe you have heard of him....Kewan Lacey. Kevin Smith and Lane took that Lacey guy, and he did okay this year.

He rushed for 1,500 yards as a junior in high school, his main thing is to add weight at 6ft 175 lbs.

Charlotte was AWFUL last year. In their 1 win, he averaged 5 YPC

October 29, 2023: Offer

Ole Miss Rebels offer Rod Gainey Jr.

Very likely it wasnt a committable offer... he ended up at Charlotte.

If BK's staff/Frank wouldve took these last two RBs guys out the portal, this board wouldve had the pitchforks out.

Kiffin gets the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

He has found underrated talent in both the portal and in high school.

Bk and Frank had the opposite problem

I think most people understand that the majority of the money should be spent on starters. We don’t need three RB’s that will demand starting RB money.

And kewan lacy.

And Ulysses Bentley.

At a certain point when it becomes plug and play with low rated guys like that it becomes either the talent evaluator or the system.

Either way we have it.

BK's offensive staff couldn't coach nor develop, and I question their ability to evaluate based off of results.

Our best RB a couple years ago was a former walk on so if he has talent and heart what does it matter

that's why we finished with 4 losses

In 2024 the SEC player of the year was from Dutchtown and the other all SEC back was from BR, we signed neither and started a former walk on. All under Frank Wilson’s tenure. Facts sting.

Did anyone look at Lacy’s numbers before he got to Ole Miss? I’ll help you here.

MISSOURI: Appeared in six games for the Tigers throughout freshman season in Columbia in 2024 … Logged 23 rushes for 104 yards … Added two catches for nine yards.

I think we might want to leave Lane handling this one!

I’m sorry we couldn’t keep your boy Brian Kelly. I know the best offensive mind in football doesn’t suit your taste for an LSU HC.

260 yards and he was the teams top rusher. Wow. That is a terrible fricking offense.

Interesting that his HS profile showed him at 210 lbs. Now he is listed at 175. I know those HS numbers get fudged, but that is a big difference. Cut weight for speed?
