So infuriating and tiresome to continually lose marquee in-state talent to Bama. I'm hoping it won't happen in this instance, but I'm resigned to the likelihood. I'm sick of Bama. We need to beat their asses this year in TS. I dont know how else we can break the stranglehold. We have to best them on the field.

I wish I knew how to do quotes on the phone. But you say we should refuse to host him on a visit and stop recruiting him all together because he isn't showing LSU any love. What a loser attitude.

Well you would have to keep an eye on him on a visit if he is on the LSU sideline pulling for Bama then yeah maybe get him out of there

So you want this clown here around recruits we're trying to impress? Who was the recruit that was escorted off the sideline last year? The thing is, he is clearly pulling bullshite by going to Bama instead of the LSU-UGA game. Then he pulls this RowTahd shite on twitter and we're supposed to wine and dine him on our dime for him to see his Tahd play? frick that. He can STTDB with this shite.

Someone finally gets what’s going on here! Saban has Never forgiven LSU for not taking him back after he left Miami. He will stick it to us any chance he gets, and make no mistake about it he does fear LSU getting back into the national spotlight.

The writing is on the wall. Don't outright block him if he wants in, but you can't hold a spot for him at this point. Also, I'm 100% solid in my belief that you don't let him visit for the Alabama game. He had his chance to watch LSU beat #2 UGA, but played games. Tell him he can visit any remaining home game, but the Alabama game. Stop letting the Amite guys play games with the program. LSU is bigger than any of them.

I say the way to handles such things is every roll tide and visit to Bama is a reduction in our offer.
He visited Bama for Mizzou and tweeted that: Rodney now has a greyshirt offer.
Next visit: An invite to the next camp and a PWO.
Eventually we'll get down to Sophsher has to sign in Dec and we'll send Rodney his PWO offer in Feb.
Why? Because if Rodney gets a LOI to us, he is going to back out anyway. We've seen this too many times. Instead of cutting ties, you play his game... but play it our way.
In the meantime, go find his replacement. IF he signs in Dec, offer Rodney full schollie, pull it when he commits to Bama.
ETA: they are using the fact that we tip-toe around in-state high ranking talent against us. WE give them the bullets. In-state and talking to Bama is no reason to give even more ground. It is reason to give less. Quit INVITING them to do this to us.

Would love a Louisiana State Police undercover investigation into Saban recruiting in Louisiana. You would have to have cooperation of solid LSU kids to participate in a sting to do it.

Bama has some very deep pocket bagmen and they are out in full force and from what I have heard, Sopsher is gone whether we like it or not. Now can something change between now and signing day, obviously, but our chances are slim to none at this point.

How do you know for sure Rodney even wanted to go sit a year at a D1 school? I believe he was stringing LSU along the whole time with the guidance of Bama to force LSU to hold two spots. I hope Bebe comes out on top and gets a few last minute big recruits. I also hope he starting to learn from this.
