How can a team rebuild a roster if they’re the only schools allowed for players to leave? This could be a death sentence SMU style.

Meaning the coaches don’t know they are leaving. They just drop out of school and re enroll at another school. There’s not a transfer portal. So basically a lot of tampering will be going on.

Once the agents were let it..........it's just all unrestricted free agency at all times. I guess at some point players will start signing contracts. After two seasons maybe there's a renegotiation with the school? Anything outside of the school they do on their own so be it...(Gatorade, Nike, Pipes U Pull-it)

LSU would lose Durham if this happened for sure. Only reason he came back was because they didn't snag Lacy. That was pretty much what his return was based on, which is why it was quiet until he signed back.

Hopefully not for the wrong reason. Just when we built talent and depth, kids are going to start looking at where they are on the depth chart and consider whether another school offers a faster path to start.

Going in the portal is just a standard part of the annual renegotiation process these days. Doesn’t necessarily indicate a true desire to actually leave.
