Phil knight gonna drop big money to make sure Moore has a solid LT. He wants to get a Championship before he dies. Hes publicly stated that. Let the overpaying begin.

We aren’t winning this unfortunately. It feels like he was always going to take the visits but with Texas Tech, Miami and Oregon all bidding they can go higher than we can right now after our huge class we bought. We will be ok but he would be a great addition.

Miami just blew a massive amount of money on mensah.

Guys like this will probably hit the portal every year

JS specifically will be hitting the NFL next year but you're not wrong and can you blame them?

That said.. 4m to protect Leavitt is a drop in the bucket if it ensures a deep playoff run

Not according to his camp. He'd be smart to go where he can maximize his exposure and development for 1 year and ensure a top 5 pick

40M NFL bonus is more important than making 500-750k more for 1 year in college.

SEC>>BIG10>>>>ACC

I like the fact we are the only SEC left it seems (dont buy the MSU factor) and Texas seems to be out of rhe running.

This is ours to lose at this point. Dont let him get on that plane

My guess is the price is going to shoot through the roof as both Oregon and Miami have serious reasons to stay in the Seaton race.

Oregon has a QB that purposely came back with a 1st round draft grade (and most likely to avoid being drafted by the Jets) and will want to protect that huge investment. Nike isnt going to let not have $$ to do so.

Miami just broke the bank on a QB and the ACC, in all of their wisdom, is giving Miami 100% of the conference CFP payout.

So the real question is Seaton going to be worth the $$ with those two actually having a "need" at LT or is it better to spend it on someone else. There is a reason Texas tampered Siani into the portal...

It's a purely financial decision.

He's building the competition.

Many of our posters seem to believe that we’re the only college program in the country, or at least, the only program that would be attractive to a young player

This kid has a chance to make in the $4-5 million range when all is said and done. Generational, life changing money.

Did we think landing the top O line transfer was going to be easy? Time to buckle in.

I’m wondering if this is actually true. Between Miami, Oregon and Us I’d imagine the offers are going to be pretty damn similar.

I’m thinking it’s going to be more about comfort than anything. Which coaching staff he feels like puts him in position to get the most recognition and protects his draft status by showcasing his skills.

All he has to do is look at Will Campbell's draft position coming out of LSU at LT 2 yrs. ago.

Similar to each other? Sure.

Similar to what he would receive if he didn’t build the competition? I doubt it.

The number floated at the beginning was 3M. We know teams will up their offer when they have to. He driving up the price.

Similar to Leavitt process. Hear what everyone has to say and offer then let them duke it out.
