Did anyone tell him Lane is no longer there?

Howard, Max Johnson and Finley in competition to see who can transfer the most.

I watched the game when he was hurt, they were calling QB runs like he was Tim Tebow. It was not shocking when he got hurt.

Finley will be enrolling at his 7th school ?
Ponchy Tiger and myself told everyone on here that was drooling over Finley during his recruitment that he wasn't that good. He'll be selling cars or working for Amazon this time next year.

Good luck with that Ole Piss! That's frightening news!

That has been ULL's offense since Billy Boy was there. QB runs have been a big part of their offense for quite some time now.

So, the next question would be, is he a running threat? If not, why recruit him for that offense?

Jesus. At this point he must have figured that he’s never gonna play in the NFL, so might as well get paid some nest egg money from a desperate Ole Miss to be a back-up again for one more Fall in the Sun. Bizarre career move otherwise. Not quite Max Johnson bizarre, but it’s in the neighborhood.

The feeling comingout of HS was that he could be if needed. In HS he threw 317 times and ran 61 times. At ULL, he passed 42 times and ran 15 times. He averaged 5.5 YPC on his runs.
It's not the old Navy or Georgia Tech style offense; it's not a primary part of their run game, just something they do as part of the offense more often than a traditional run/pass offense. My phrasing was probably misleading.

Hard for ULL to pass on a guy with that much potential. He was a mobile QB, even if he did not run a whole lot at STM.ot at STM.

Thanks. Really wasn’t all that familiar with his game

Well, he wasn’t exactly lighting it up out there before he was injured
